Solving the Unheard Crisis

For years, hearing healthcare has been overwhelmed by barriers—long wait times, limited access to specialists and a frustrating lack of clear solutions for patients struggling with hearing loss. Many individuals, from newborns to older adults, found themselves navigating a system that often left them without the answers they desperately needed. Eisenhart recognized this gap early in her career and made it her mission to change the experience of those seeking care.
Her journey began with rigorous training at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Doctor of Audiology in 2014. But the real turning point came during her time at the Bloomsburg Speech and Hearing Center. It was there that she witnessed firsthand the confusion and frustration of patients searching for solutions—whether it was parents facing a newborn’s failed hearing screening or adults struggling with progressive hearing loss that impacted their careers and relationships. She quickly realized that traditional approaches weren’t enough.
Determined to bridge the gap between diagnosis and real-world solutions, Eisenhart immersed herself in hands-on clinical experiences. At Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital, she worked with newborns, ensuring early interventions could change the course of a child’s development. During her clinical residency at Chesapeake Hearing Centers in Maryland, she encountered patients who had been misdiagnosed or left without proper care for years. She took the time to rethink treatment plans, introducing comprehensive audiometric testing, immittance evaluations and integrating latest advancements in hearing aid technology to tailor solutions that met each patient’s specific needs.

But solving the problem wasn’t just about clinical expertise—it was about making advanced technology accessible. Eisenhart trained with industry leaders like Oticon, Starkey and Siemens, making sure patients weren’t just given a diagnosis but were connected to life-changing innovations. She also sought advanced training at ENT Surgical Group, Susquehanna Health and The Hearing Center in Kingston, PA, further refining her ability to treat complex cases with precision.
